For the longest, safest burn, we recommend following these tips:
- A long first burn is not necessary for this coconut apricot wax candle.
- Trim the wick to 1/4 inch (6mm) before each burn to prevent soot and excessive flickering.
- Keep the wick centered for an even burn. If it shifts, gently reposition it with a matchstick while the wax is still soft.
- Never let the flame touch the sides of the jar.
- Burn no more than 4 hours at a time, and discontinue use when 1/4 inch (6mm) of wax remains in the jar.
- NEVER leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it out of reach of children and pets.
- Always burn your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, fans, and flammable materials.
- Allow the wax to cool completely before moving the candle.
- To put out any candle fires, always use a fire blanket or fire extinguisher, NEVER use water.
